Oral care for those who can’t expectorate (spit)
If you care for someone who cannot expectorate (spit), providing proper oral care can be very difficult, if not impossible. Our Suction Toothbrush makes it easier to provide good brushing and gum stimulation while effectively removing solutions used for cleaning, when attached to your suction equipment.
Remove dental plaque and secretions to prevent infection
Dental plaque and oral secretions have been shown to harbor potentially harmful bacteria known as respiratory pathogens1,2 which can cause infection. Brushing teeth with our Suction Toothbrush with sodium bicarbonate mechanically removes dental plaque. Our Perox-A-Mint® cleansing solution helps remove phlegm, mucus, and other oral secretions. After brushing, place your thumb over the port on the Toothbrush handle to create suction through the bristles and foam head. Cleansing solution, oral secretions and debris are quickly and effectively vacuumed from the mouth.
Easy care, no mixing
Each Suction Toothbrush is conveniently packaged with 1.5% Hydrogen Peroxide (Perox-A-Mint) cleansing solution in a convenient, "burst" pouch. It quickly moistens the Suction Toothbrush in the package without mess. There's no mixing and no need for toothpaste or other cleansing solutions. The ultra-soft bristles and soft foam head are gentle on delicate oral tissue and the long, angled handle provides more thorough cleaning of teeth in the back of the mouth.
Toothette Oral Care products are made in America and trusted by more hospitals than any other brand7.
